A customer on sixty-day terms is not overdue on day thirty-one. Vault Analyst reads each customer's terms code, works out when each invoice was really due, and ages it from there. The aged analysis totals to the AR control account to the cent.

Who sees what, and who may post

Every person has their own account and password. Roles are built from nine capabilities and can be scoped to SYSPRO modules, so a credit controller sees the debtors book and a warehouse supervisor does not. Posting needs two locks: the role has to carry it, and the person has to be switched on individually. Row-level security goes one step further. A rep scoped to their own branch sees only their own rows inside a screen everybody else shares.

Reports and dashboards can be emailed to a group on a schedule, including people who have no login at all. Statements can go out to the whole customer book in one run, on the day you choose, through SYSPRO's own formatted document. And a KPI can watch itself (stock crossing its reorder point, a debtor ageing past terms) and the moment it does, an email arrives with a button that raises the transaction it is warning you about.
